The Minakami Karate Dojo Hawaii

The Minakami Karate Dojo Hawaii (MKDH) was founded in 2002 by Sensei Sean Roberts. Roberts Sensei, like his mentor Shihan Akio Minakami, is an internationally recognized authority on the history and techniques of traditional Japanese martial arts.

MKDH offers a safe, balanced, positive and fun environment that promotes the development of physical fitness and personal character. The dojo holds classes at two locations, the University of Hawaii at Manoa Athletic Complex and the Kapiolani Community College Chapel near Diamond Head Crater. At MKDH, we welcome students of all ages and abilities.
