This past weekend, Kiyo Senpai had tested for and received her black belt from Shihan Minakami.

She is the third from our dojo to achieve their black belt.

Due to a Cheerleader Competition being held in the Studios at UHM, we will be holding classes outside on the Basketball courts by the UH Track. Please be sure to bring shoes to practice in.

Also, there will most likely be a parking fee of $5.

Shihan Minakami will be in town on Monday, December 14th to the following Monday, December 21st.

Due to his busy schedule, there’s no guarantee to when he will be teaching, so please come to as many classes as you can next week to get the change to train with him.

He will conduct class that is easy to follow so that all ranks can participate. We encourage everyone to come and train with Shihan.

As a reminder, when you see him, or when he tells you something, you have to say “Ossu Shihan!” as loud as you can!
